Where do I feel my Scribbles STOP Skill Body Map Reflection Activity Mission Launchpad Programme by Exciting Teacher and Scribbles Crew 2026

This resource is part of our Mission Launchpad Programme resources for supporting emotional literacy and emotional regulation in busy classrooms (& homes).

This resource supports children using STOP Scribble to notice when their emotions are bubbling up: stop, pause & count to 3 for emotional regulation and emotional literacy development using Planet STOP through using a before and after body map outline. This activity builds awareness of bodily sensations and interoception skills for understanding the body’s emotional signals.

This resource is suitable KS1 and KS2.

How could this resource be used?

  • To support children and young people with developing personal coping strategies for dealing with big emotions and feelings.
  • To help children and young people to distract themselves and take a moment away to calm down.
  • To support embedding the Spot, Say and Steer framework in busy classrooms. 
  • To support using Planet STOP for supporting Emotional Regulation on the go as a lifelong emotional literacy skills development.
  • To give children the vocabulary to accurately notice what they are feeling in their body, share their emotions and identify ways to regulate their emotions.
