‘Moon Mission Breathing’: Finger Breathing Labyrinth Map with Calm Scribble (Mission Launchpad Programme)

Moon Mission Breathing Finger Labyrinth Map with Calm Scribble by Exciting Teacher and The Scribbles Crew 2026 for Mission Launchpad Programme

‘Moon Mission Breathing’ breathing technique is a helpful strategy for promoting calmness before bedtime, during times of BIG feelings throughout the day and to support emotional regulation throughout the day.

This resource has been inspired by the NASA Artemis II mission to the moon and back to earth again!

Deep breathing helps to slow our heart rate down and helps our bodies to relax, feel back in control and to remove the emotions from the driving seat.

Suitable for EYFS, KS1, and Ks2.

How could this resource be used?

  • To support understanding of how to calm down BIG feelings in action.
  • To promote healthy sleep hygiene routines and daily practice when using this strategy to support sleep. To understand the benefits of sleep and how it affects our mood not just our physical health.
  • To use breathing strategies to manage BIG feelings and tricky emotions throughout the day as a grounding technique and supportive coping strategies.
