Worry Talking Mat Activity (Emotional Literacy Resource)

ET-268-EP Worry Talking Mat Activity by Exciting Teacher

The ‘Worry Talking Mat Activity’ has been designed to support children to explore what they worrying about.

Talking Mats are commonly used to support Neurodiverse children to have the language to describe their own personal experiences. This activity includes a Dyslexia friendly font to support inclusivity and accessibility for all children and young people.

It is the perfect accompanying resource for EMHPs, CWPs, and ELSAs to use in their 1:1 sessions or in a small group.

How could this resource be used?

  • To support children with identifying their worries.
  • To support Autistic (and other Neurodiversities) young people with identifying what causes them to feel worried.
  • To be used in 1:1 sessions.
