The Tip of the Behaviour Iceberg

‘The Tip of the Iceberg’ has been designed to support children and young people with exploring how sometimes how we behave is only the tip of the iceberg and often there are other things going on ahead below the surface.
Behaviour is always communication.
It is like an iceberg, you have what you can see then what you cannot see.
The sheet encourages children and young people to identify what they are experiencing and what they can do to support.
How could this resource be used?
- To support emotional regulation.
- To support emotional literacy and identifying feelings on a scale.
