The Emotional Eggs Flashcards: Blank Colouring Version (Easter Resources)

The Emotional Eggs have been created to encourage children to talk about different feelings and the varied vocabulary associated with them. It is a tool for developing emotional literacy and feelings vocabulary. The Emotional Eggs are the perfect Easter addition to any EYFS or KS1 setting.
This collection of Emotional Eggs allows children to design and assign their chosen colour for each emotion allowing them to create a personalised set of emotions and feelings flashcards.
These could be used to play snap, start conversations, as charades – acting out each emotion, a discussion prompt for ‘tell me about a time when…’ and SO much more!
How could this resource be used?
- To support emotional regulation, emotional literacy, and identifying different emotions.
- To support a child 1:1.
- To help children to identify a variety of vocabulary to describe their feelings.
