This is an Easter Egg Hunt with a difference! This Easter Egg Hunt gets children thinking and talking about different emotions and feelings.

The Emotional Eggs have been created to encourage children to talk about different feelings and the varied vocabulary associated with them. It is a tool for developing emotional literacy and feelings vocabulary. The Emotional Eggs are the perfect Easter addition to any EYFS, KS1 or KS1 setting.

How could this resource be used?

  • To support emotional regulation, emotional literacy, and identifying different emotions.
  • To help children to identify a variety of vocabulary to describe their feelings.
  • To encourage children to spot different emotions and feelings.
