Overcoming Toilet Anxiety: Discrete Toilet Break Card with Grounding and Calming Techniques for Children

This resource supports children to overcome toilet anxiety associated with using the toilet when in school or at home by providing a discrete toilet pass card.
The card also contains supportive grounding techniques and calming strategies to support the child to calm down their anxiety or worries in the moment when using the toilet.
This resource is suitable EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
How could this resource be used?
- To support children and young people with developing personal coping strategies for dealing with big emotions and feelings.
- To help children and young people to distract themselves, for example: overcoming toilet anxiety for children.
- To promote a love of mindfulness as a calming strategy for coping with BIG feelings, like anxiety related to using the toilet.
