'My Feelings Trigger Chart' featuring The Scribbles Crew

'My Feelings Trigger Chart' featuring The Scribbles Crew by Exciting Teacher

‘My Feelings Trigger Chart’ has been designed to support children and young people with identifying what triggers their feelings and emotions. It encourages children to think about Emotional Regulation using ‘If… Then…’ to help them to make helpful choices.

Sometimes it is difficult to identify exactly how you are feeling and what causes that feeling. This provides children and young people the opportunity to record their feelings, identify what makes them feel that way and that they can do to help ease that feeling. It is in line with the ‘5 Point Scale’.

This resource features The Scribbles Crew, a group of friendly looking emotions characters that can be created by any child. They are just that: scribbles!

How could this resource be used?

  • To support emotional regulation.
  • To support emotional literacy and identifying triggers.
  • To support a child 1:1.
