‘I Can Spot My Scribbles’: Feelings Reflection Card for Interoception & Bodily Sensations (Spot, Say & Steer Framework with The Scribbles Crew)

I Can Spot My Feeling Self-Reflection Card KS1 KS2 by Exciting Teacher and The Scribbles Crew 2026.

This resource supports children to take a moment when they need to regulate BIG emotions and to reflect on BIG feelings after they have happened.

This resource can be used alongside a Calm Corner or Area to calm down BIG feelings in the moment using our signature Spot, Say & Steer framework for spotting BIG feelings in the form of bodily sensations or interoception.

This resource is suitable KS1 and KS2.

How could this resource be used?

  • To support children and young people with developing personal coping strategies for dealing with big emotions and feelings.
  • To help children and young people to distract themselves and take a moment away to calm down.
  • To help children to self-reflect and to develop emotional literacy skills.
  • To support embedding the Spot, Say and Steer framework in busy classrooms.
  • To give children the vocabulary to accurately notice what they are feeling in their body, share their emotions and identify ways to regulate their emotions.
