'Feeling Scared?': Social, Emotional Literacy Resource (Autumn & Halloween Edition)

‘Feeling Scared?’ has been carefully designed to provide essential support for children and young people as they navigate and explore their BIG feelings, such as fear, being scared, and feelings of fright.
This resource aims to foster a better understanding of these emotions and encourage open discussions about them.
How could this resource be used?
- To support emotional regulation.
- To support emotional literacy and identifying BIG feelings, such as fear and feeling scared.
- To support a child 1:1.

- KS1: H13 – how feelings can affect people’s bodies and how they behave.
- KS1: H18 – different things they can do to manage big feelings, to help calm themselves down and/or change their mood when they don’t feel good.
