BIG Feelings (Incident) Reflection Log: Using Restorative Behaviour Management

The ‘Feelings (Incident) Reflection Log’ has been designed to support children and young people with exploring complex emotions and reflecting on situations that cause them to become de-regulated.
This resource is rooted in Restorative Behaviour Management techniques for use in the classroom.

How could this resource be used?
- To support teaching emotional literacy and identifying issues surrounding mental health and wellbeing.
- To identify children that may need further support for their mental health.
- To support a child 1:1.
- To support a wider class ethos of talking and normalising mental health and wellbeing.
- To form part of restorative behaviour management pracitce.
- To think about natural consequences of unhelpful behaviour.
