'Battle of the Unhelpful Thoughts Game': Boardgame for Children to Flip and Reframe Thoughts to Helpful (with Worried Scribble)
The board-game, Battle of the Unhelpful Thoughts, helps children to identify and understand unhelpful thinking traps and then how to reframe the negative thought into a more helpful thought.
Children are invited to play a take on a classic game as inpsired by Battleships.
How to Play:
- Choose your Unhelpful Thoughts colour.
- Colour in your Unhelpful Thoughts on the Map, tick them off as you add them.
- Take it in turns to ask a coordinate, such as ‘A1’. If this is one of your unhelpful thoughts, then this is a hit – you will cross it off and choose an Unhelpful Thought card to turn into a Positive Thought.
- The first person to get all of their game partners Unhelpful Thoughts crossed off, wins!
