BIG Feelings Scale (5 Point Scale) Display for Supporting Emotional Regulation

ET-60-EP Big Feelings 5 Point Scale Display by Exciting Teacher

‘BIG Feelings Display’ has been designed to support children and young people with regulating their emotions using the 5 Point Scale.

This A4 volcano display encourages children and young people to identify where on the scale they are feeling. This could also be scaled to A3 if needed.

We have a complete guide to implementing the BIG Feelings Scale and Volcano through a whole-school approach for PLUS+ members.

How could this resource be used?

  • To support emotional regulation.
  • To support emotional literacy and identifying feelings on a scale.
  • To support a child 1:1.
  • To support your whole-class and whole-school approach through a Classroom Display Poster.
