Exciting Teacher is home to almost 700+ PSHE resources to support Teachers, Parents and Professionals in helping children with developing Emotional Literacy skills for life. We specialise in Mental Health and Wellbeing resources for Primary aged Children alongside many other areas of the PSHE Curriculum.

About our Founder, Channon:
Channon grew up in Cornwall before studying Social Anthropology at the London School of Economics (LSE) in 2014.
Upon graduating from University in 2017, Channon spent time as a Teaching Assistant in a local Primary School before heading off to New York to work as a Fine Art Counsellor at a summer camp.
In 2019, Channon began studying at Cambridge University completing her PGCE in General Primary and a Masters in Education degree.
Whilst working as a Primary School Teacher during the Pandemic, Channon realised her passion for supporting children and families with their wellbeing.
Channon now works for the NHS in Children’s Mental Health as an Education Mental Health Practitioner delivering Low-Intensity CBT interventions alongside Exeter University.
This is where the Exciting Teacher Member’s Club was formed back in 2021 (launched in 2022), out of an interest in increasing access to high-quality mental health-related resources for teachers to deliver themselves in classrooms around the world.
We are Award-winning!
Exciting Teacher won Theo Paphitis’ Small Business Sunday (SBS) back in May 2023. This is a prestigious award that means that our tiny corner of the internet has been acknowledged by a Former Dragon!
In March 2024, Exciting Teacher was shortlisted by Biz Bubble for ‘Best Digital Biz’. In April 2024, Exciting Teacher was announced Biz Bubble Small Biz of the Year 2024 and Biz Bubble Best Digital Biz 2024. Eeek what an epic year 2024 was for Exciting Teacher!
