‘Thought Freeing Fireworks: Letting Worries Go’ has been designed to support children and young people with letting go of worries.
Imagine your worry shooting up to the sky like a firework before exploding and disappearing! Write down your worries in the fireworks and let them go. This is a helpful way to imagine letting go of those pesky worries that we cannot solve and so they like to stick around to bother us.
How could this resource be used?
- To support emotional literacy and self-regulation.
- To support a child 1:1.
- To understand one strategy for letting go of non-practical worries (worries that cannot be solved).
- To support a child 1:1.
- To be used as part of a classroom display.
- To promote mindfulness.
