Planet NAME-it: ‘Where on the scale am I?’ Emotions & BIG Feelings Scale for Children (Mission Launchpad Programme) (EYFS, KS1, KS2)
This resource is part of our Mission Launchpad Programme resources for supporting emotional literacy and emotional regulation in busy classrooms (& homes).
This resource supports children using NAME-it Scribble to notice when their emotions are bubbling up for emotional regulation and emotional literacy development using Planet NAME-it and a scaling emotions activity.
This resource is suitable EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
How could this resource be used?
- To support children and young people with developing personal coping strategies for dealing with big emotions and feelings.
- To support embedding the Spot, Say and Steer framework in busy classrooms.
- To support using Planet NAME-it for supporting Emotional Regulation on the go as a lifelong emotional literacy skills development.
- To give children the vocabulary to accurately notice what they are feeling in their body, share their emotions and identify ways to regulate their emotions.
